Following the successful inaugural meeting in Matsue, Japan in May 2026, we are proud to host the Second Edition of the International Conference on Advances in Optics and Photonics (AdvOptix 2027) scheduled to take place at West City Hotel, Cluj Napoca, Romania during May 24–26, 2027 chaired by Dr. Felix Sima (National Institute for Lasers, Plasma and Radiation Physics, Romania).

Cluj Napoca, often called the “Heart of Transylvania”, is one of Romania’s leading cultural and academic centers. With its rich history, vibrant atmosphere, and iconic landmarks such as St. Michael’s Church and Union Square, the city beautifully blends medieval heritage with modern innovation - making it an ideal destination for international scientific gatherings.

This three day conference will bring together 150+ participants from over 30 countries, including leading experts, researchers, and industry professionals, to explore the latest advancements and breakthroughs in optics and photonics. AdvOptix 2027 promises to be an inspiring and intellectually enriching event that will significantly shape the future of our field.
